e-Reporting, without the jargon.

e-Invoicing is about the invoice itself: its format, its route and its clearance. e-Reporting is about the data behind it. More and more tax authorities now want your transaction data sent to them directly, often within days or even hours, instead of waiting for a VAT return at quarter end.

That covers sales you make to other businesses, sales to consumers, cross-border transactions and payments. Each country sets its own rules: what to report, in which format, and how fast. Miss a submission or send the wrong data, and penalties follow.

Different obligations, same data. That's why we handle both from one feed.

You run the business. We'll run the reports.

e-Reporting shouldn't need a war room every time a country changes its rules. You run your business and we'll make sure the right data reaches the right authority, in the right format, on time.

Your tax data, reported the way every authority wants it.

e-Reporting from VAT IT is a fully managed service, not software you're left to figure out. Our tax specialists and onboarding team look after every step.

  • We check every country you trade in and confirm what you need to report, how often and from when.

  • Your onboarding specialist works with your team to map out the best integration path and architecture for your ERP, billing or AP platform, then supports you through the build.

  • Your transaction data is converted into each authority's required format, automatically.

  • Every submission is checked against local rules. Most issues are fixed before anyone sees them.

  • Reports go to each tax authority on schedule, whether that's real time, daily or periodic.

  • Every submission and response is stored audit-ready, matched to the invoices it came from.

  • New reporting rule? We update the platform before the deadline and tell you what it means for you.

Two mandates. One source of truth.

In many countries, e-Reporting and e-Invoicing arrive together, or one follows close behind the other. Run them through two providers and you're reconciling two sets of data, two sets of rules and two support teams. Run them through VAT IT and the invoice and the report come from the same data, so they always match.

Asked by finance teams like yours

What's the difference between e-Reporting and e-Invoicing?

e-Invoicing is about the invoice: its format and how it reaches your customer, often via the tax authority. e-Reporting is about sending your transaction data to the tax authority directly. Some countries require one, some both. We handle both from the same data feed.

Does e-Reporting replace my VAT return?

Not always. In some countries e-Reporting sits alongside the VAT return; in others it pre-fills it. We tell you exactly what applies in each country you trade in, and VAT & GST Compliance can take care of the returns too.

Can you cover all our countries with one integration?

Yes. You connect once and every country runs through that same connection. When you expand, we switch the new country on as a setting. No new build, no second vendor.

What happens when a reporting rule changes?

Our regulatory team picks it up early, updates the platform before it takes effect and lets you know what, if anything, you need to do. Usually the answer is nothing.

How long does onboarding take?

Hours to weeks, not months. Our fastest integration to date took 27 hours. Your onboarding specialist works with your team to map out the best integration path and architecture, then supports you through the build.

Are you accredited with tax authorities?

Yes. We're a certified Peppol access point, a GENA member, an approved platform in France, Verifactu declared in Spain, accredited in Australia and Malaysia, an Accredited Service Provider in the UAE and more.

Do you report purchases as well as sales?

Yes, where a country requires it. We report both sides from the same data feed.

Does this cover SAF-T and other periodic data files?

Periodic files such as SAF-T are prepared by VAT IT VAT & GST Compliance from the same data, so your reports, files and returns match.

What happens if a submission is late or wrong?

It depends on the country: penalties range from fixed fines to a percentage of the tax involved. We validate every submission before it's sent and track each deadline, so it doesn't come to that.
