Deze gids biedt een overzicht van de btw in Argentinië, inclusief de geldende tarieven, registratievereisten, nalevingsverplichtingen en indieningstermijnen. Hij is bedoeld voor bedrijven die transacties uitvoeren binnen Argentinië.
De btw is goed voor meer dan 30% van de totale belastinginkomsten van Argentinië en is daarmee de grootste belastingbron van het land.
Doet u zaken in Argentinië? Dan moet u zich houden aan de regels van de nationale belastingwetgeving.
Registratie is verplicht op basis van het type activiteit, niet op basis van een drempel. Bedrijven moeten zich registreren als ze activiteiten uitoefenen waarvoor btw-naleving vereist is, ongeacht hun omzet.
Argentinië past btw toe op digitale diensten op basis van de locatie van de consument
Argentinië heeft speciale btw-regels ingevoerd voor digitale diensten die worden geleverd door niet-ingezetenen. De leverancier int geen btw; in plaats daarvan maken creditcardmaatschappijen of financiële instellingen deze als inhoudingsplichtige aan de belastingdienst over. Als dat niet gebeurt, moet de Argentijnse ontvanger de btw rechtstreeks betalen.
Nee, voorbelasting die is betaald door bedrijven die niet in Argentinië zijn gevestigd en niet lokaal voor btw zijn geregistreerd, is over het algemeen niet terugvorderbaar.
Het standaard btw-tarief (IVA) bedraagt 21%, maar er bestaan ook andere tarieven (bijvoorbeeld 27% en 10,5%), afhankelijk van de goederen of diensten.
Ja, de meeste btw-geregistreerde belastingplichtigen moeten e-facturen versturen, inclusief B2B- en B2G-transacties.
