Singapore applica l'imposta sui beni e servizi (GST) ai servizi digitali forniti da fornitori non residenti ai consumatori (B2C) nell'ambito del regime di registrazione dei fornitori esteri (OVR). I fornitori non residenti e, eventualmente, i mercati elettronici devono registrarsi ai fini GST se il loro fatturato imponibile globale supera 1 milione di SGD e forniscono servizi digitali per un valore superiore a 100.000 SGD ai consumatori di Singapore. Per le transazioni B2B si applica il meccanismo di inversione contabile, che richiede al destinatario commerciale locale di contabilizzare la GST al posto del fornitore estero. Nel caso dei mercati, questi possono scegliere di riscuotere la GST sulle forniture B2B.
